Porter's Lodge Print
Porters Lodge is a National Historic Landmark and is located at the entrance of The Cistern on the College of Charleston campus. Constructed in 1850, Porters Lodge was the home to the College's porter, or custodian. On it's George Street facade, it bears the Greek inscription for "Know Thyself." Today, the structure houses several faculty offices.
